COMPANY OVERVIEW: A History of Innovation
In 1982 Dr Steven Saunders made the transition from being an in-demand consulting psychologist in private practice to one of New Zealand's first home grown business speaker and sales motivator. Steven's first speaking engagement was to a regional AMP Insurance Agent's Conference held in Te Awamutu in July 1982, followed by a presentation to the Rotorua Business Association a week later.
From those modest beginnings, business activities expanded to include Sales Training programmes, Keynote presentations and After Dinner Talks and led to the development of In-House video training packages made specifically for individual clients. Steven's activities continued to expand and in 1986 the Company, Steven Saunders & Associates Ltd was incorporated. Today Steven Saunders & Associates Ltd is one of New Zealand's best known boutique business consultancies.
Steven's role is to deliver key note addresses, presentations and speeches, facilitate and present training workshops and seminars, provide advice to SMEs and develop programmes customised for individual clients.
Co-owner and wife Glenda is the business manager and Company Director since retiring from active involvement in the business as a Consultant. In 2008 she received a Queens New Years honour and is a Member of New Zealand Order of Merit. She is also a Hamilton City Councillor in her second Term.
Daughter Hannah, the youngest of 5 children, has recently become accredited in the use and interpretation of Thomas International DISC profiling system. Hannah is studying psychology at Auckland University.
