Dr Steven Saunders - definitely not your normal psychologist!
Steven calls himself a "simple lad", the son of a farmer. The simple lad was the first student to begin and complete a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Waikato.
Steven is a Director of two businesses, Steven Saunders & Associates Ltd and Credit Union Waikato. Steven's talks and training sessions have been extremely well received by his audiences across many disciplines.
Steven commenced his private business as a consulting psychologist in 1978 and began working with businesses in 1982. He provides a range of services, which include:
- Speaking at Conferences or conventions including Master of Ceremony duties
- Facilitating management and/or sales training programmes
- Providing workshops on stress management, change management, how to deal with difficult, demanding and prickly personalities, teamwork, personality assessment and presentation skills
- Staff Recruitment for senior roles
- Developing in-house staff training tools and programmes
Steven's versatility means that he is able to bring his messages to educationalists, industry groups, accountants, retail service organisations, primary producers and professional organisations such as Rotary International.
